Our beautiful Segovia is the home for many IE students and a place filled with a fascinating historical heritage, a land where people seek inspiration and a beauty one could only find in a dream. Located North of Madrid on a rocky hilltop, this magical place offers a chance to experience breathtaking sunsets and views along with grand monuments such as a fairy-tale castle, an astonishing cathedral, and an impressive ancient roman aqueduct. There is so much to see and explore in this beautiful town filled with a rich history and cultural heritage.

Spending spring break in Segovia is not bad at all. Although it is not everyones ideal situation, try to see it more as a way to discover more of the place we call home. There is so much to do and see in this beautiful town and now you can use this week and a bit to find all its hidden treasures! Going to the hills, enjoying nature, experiencing the culture are moments you’re going to cherish forever and be incredibly grateful for. As you walk through Segovia’s stone roads in The Old Town, you will definitely enjoy wandering around, finding new cafés, boutiques, shops, and restaurants to visit and try for the first time.

For many of us we have done all the main stops on the Segovia list of attractions but never had the time to go off the beaten track and discover something new. To give you some more ideas, below is an itinerary/list of attractions that you can visit in Segovia over spring break!
